Ikigai / LOUMONT

LOUMONT is a Southern California based artist focused on exploring the human condition and our place in this world through experimental yet soulful music. IKIGAI is their first full-length album available now on: Spotify, Amazon Music, Bandcamp, YouTube Music and SoundCloud.

Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means ‘reason for being.’ In conversations with the client, we explored what it meant to belong and how our roots have informed our states in life. This is where the idea of implementing their childhood came into play. Loumont’s love for music and life all started in their childhood home so there was no better image to place on their first album than the home itself. The goal was showcase the stillness and wonder of life, much like the themes that the record explores.
